Last summer 8 tonnes of cocaine in a single bust – the biggest bust ever in Rotterdam
Last August in Algeciras 9.5 tonnes of cocaine hidden among the bananas. Also a record.
A record 120 tonnes seized in the port of Antwerp last year.
But while police and customs are cracking down, prices are not going up.
Cocaine seems immune to inflation.
Showing that the flow of drugs is only increasing.
There is more cocaine on the European market than ever before.
We meet here in one of Europe's greatest ports to counter one of the greatest threats Europe faces today. (…)
