Black individuals’ attitudes toward opioid use disorder medications

Compared to White individuals, Black individuals are more likely to die from an opioid overdose and less likely to receive medication treatments for opioid use disorder. This study examined reasons that might underlie these disparities, by assessing medication treatment attitudes and experiences among Black people with a history of opioid use disorder.
