The Illicit Drugs Reporting System (IDRS) is a national drug monitoring system that has been conducted annually since 2000. Its purpose is to identify emerging trends of local and national concern in illicit drug use and markets. The system is part of the broader Drug Trends program.
This bulletin focuses on trends of methamphetamine use among individuals undergoing opioid agonist treatment (OAT), and differences in demographic and treatment characteristics between OAT clients who use methamphetamine and those who do not.
