USA. Physician 'Predator' Sentenced for Opioid-Related Patient Death; More
Thomas K. Ballard III, MD, of Jackson, Tennessee, pleaded guilty to causing the death of one of his patients in 2015 by illegally prescribing hydrocodone. He faces a minimum of 20 years in prison for one count of illegal drug distribution resulting in death. He will be sentenced in September. (Medscape, USA, 10.08.2021)
