Ukraine: Delivering Lifesaving Care Despite the War

This page was updated on 28 January 2026 with updated numbers.

Ukraine’s health systems have been devastated by the war – thousands of hospitals and clinics have been damaged or destroyed, supply chains have been decimated and millions of people have been at risk of being cut off from lifesaving HIV, tuberculosis (TB) and primary health care services.

Despite these monumental challenges, mobile health teams operated by Alliance for Public Health, with support from the Global Fund and other donors, are delivering lifesaving care to the hardest-hit communities – who otherwise would have no access to health services.
