Significant progress has been made in addressing HIV and hepatitis in terms of knowledge, treatment and tools. International commitments have also been made to put an end to these epidemics1. However, the European Union and Europe more widely2 continue to face many challenges in terms of access to prevention and care, and respect of fundamental rights. (correlation-net u.a., April 2019)
